Rainy day, Pooh Bear, Hunny, Books, Cookies, and a blog.
Hey guys! I am starting a “random” blog post series, and I hope you all will enjoy it! So, without further ado, here is Random Blog Posts #1!!
The rain pelts down outside, but inside, I am warm and cozy, reading and writing, doing school, and talking with my family. The fire emits a warm glow and we laugh and talk about whatever we do. Rainy days💦 are some of my favorite types of days, second only to warm sunny ones. In fact, that’s how I cam to start this blog in the first place. It was a rainy day and I was looking up things to do on a rainy day. Well, what popped up was make a blog, so I brought the idea to my Dad, and he took it and went running!🏃♂️ So, yeah, that’s how this started. On a rainy day not too long ago. Most rainy days, I read or write, curled up on my couch sometimes by a fire with a mug of some sort of tea, but if I always got my preference, it would be chai, and usually, it is!!☕ If I am not reading I’ll be eating a cozy movie with my family, which is really fun as well. But, sometimes its not my family I watch movies with! I like watching with my friends too. And doing other things with them as well, such as baking , or just talking and laughing! Or we’ll dance, but usually that ends up with us dying on the floor😜🤣🤣
A topic not uncommon at our house is that of Pooh, or, better known to the rest of the world as Whinnie the Pooh, or Pooh Bear. But here, we just call him Pooh, which sometimes gets mistaken for poo, but we wont go into all of that 😂☹. Pooh has always been one of our families favorite children’s stories, everywhere from the TV show right down to the Christmas tales written by some other author. Might I add, the original Whinnie the Pooh tales were a very normal pre-bed read when me and my brothers were younger. Of course, Pooh loves his hunny (yes, that is how he spells it, all you Pooh Bear fans know what I’m talking about 😉). So if any of you know me, y’all know I like hunny (sticking with Pooh’s spelling here😁), but of course, what would it be like to have a whole PARTY themed Pooh Bear and hunny and Piglet and Rabbit and Tigger and everybody!?? 🐯🐷🐰🐻
I like books. Now I bet your all like, “Duh, Jane, of course you do, otherwise why are you a writer?” Well, yeah I am, but even before I really knew that I wanted to be a writer, author, blogger, whatever you want to call it, I was a reader, a love of books. I still am!!📗📘📕📙 Gosh, guys, my friends can vouch for me, I’m always gushing over one book or another, practically dying with them and experiencing their Joy’s and pains. Yes, I do sometimes get mad at the characters, but eventually by the end of the book they’ve made up with me, and I’m happy, and it’s just such an amazing feeling when the book turns out right and you just feel so accomplished.📚 If y’all are readers, you know what I’m talking about. Anyway, right now I’m reading The Looking Glass Illusion, and I’m LOVING it!! (If y’all want a book review let me know👀)
COOKIES!!!!!🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 I am definitely a big fan. Sugar cookies, chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, all the cookies. My favorites are the three I actually managed to name 😆. I like to bake too, and bread is a fav to make as well🍞, but were not here to talk about bread, I promised you guys COOKIES. Ahh, who doesn’t love a warm cookie on a cold, blustery afternoon? (Anyone catch my Whinnie the Pooh reference??) I mean, come on, add milk and its perfection! So, why am I talking a out cookies? To be honest I don’t quite know, but I do know that I ha e a KILLER recipe for some snickerdoodle ones. (Maybe I’ll share it in a future post, who knows?🤫) Anyway, I think that’s enough on cookies. I don’t think its healthy for one to talk so much about a sugar loaded treat. 😉
